Front Porch Florida Initiative
Neighborhood Action Plan
The solutions for changing the Front Porch Florida communities come from citizens who live within the community and other community stakeholders. The Action Plan is the community's "road map." It includes, but is not limited to, the following:
- Vital statistics about the community
- Major Issues
- Issue Priorities
- Implementation Steps and Timelines
- Short-term and Long-term Goals
- Measurable Outcomes
- Feasibility Analysis
The Front Porch Initiative then uses this document to coordinate with such interested parties as current community service providers, external interested parties, various levels of government (local, state, federal), corporations, and foundations to implement the community's plans. Without such a critical document, the efforts of the community cannot be clearly understood or communicated to the many interested partners. The plan, once fully implemented, should lead to many social and physical improvements to the community.
